Sabrina + Josh || Logan Canyon Engagement Session

December 31st, 2016

Sabrina and Josh are meant to be.  It’s undeniable.  They met in their singles ward in ALASKA after their jobs took them both there.  Josh is stationed there with the army, Sabrina works as a nanny. I had a great time taking them up the canyon and finding good spots along the way.  The canyon gets […]

I had a great time taking them up the canyon and finding good spots along the way.  The canyon gets a little tricky this time of year  because you never know what’s going to be accessible in the winter! We started at First Dam (who knew there were great places to shoot there???!!), and then headed up to a campground and a pull off for the rest of the pictures. I loved that we were able to catch the afternoon light just peeking out from above the canyon mountains.  It was beautiful and cold, but perfect for these wintery engagements! Can’t wait to work with these two again for their wedding in March!

Merry Christmas from my family to yours!

Gracie + Tyson || Logan Temple Wedding Photography

December 16th, 2016

Tyson and Gracie truly are two of the most gracious and kind people I’ve ever met.  Let’s just say I was having major mom brain the day of their sealing.  It helped that they are both in med school and know that it’s a “real thing,” but oh my goodness.  What a day.  I loved […]

Did you know that there are couple residency placements?! No?! Me either! How cool though.  These two definitely have a unique love story and start of their marriage, and I loved getting to hear about it.  Such an amazing couple!

Brittanee + Derek || Ogden, Utah Engagements

December 15th, 2016

Brittanee and Derek are in the middle of planning a very beautiful, traditional wedding for next year.  Brittanee and I definitely hit it off based on that – I’m pretty traditional, so I’m really excited!! Brittanee and Derek are in the middle of planning a very beautiful, traditional wedding for next year.  Brittanee and I definitely hit it off based on that – I’m pretty traditional, so I’m really excited!! In the meantime, these two needed some engagements and wanted to do them in the Utah snow.  They had a perfect place picked out to bring their adorable (and big) dogs to be a part of the shoot.  We got really lucky with a beautiful sunset on an otherwise really grey day.  It was a great first shoot with these two, and I’m excited to continue working with them for their big day!

After having a magical experience visiting Santa this season, I knew I wanted to create an opportunity for others to feel the magic too!! Santa has agreed to come sit for special Heirloom Santa sessions where not only will your kids get to tell them what their Christmas wish is, but we will also take special pictures to capture the magic that Santa brings to your little one.  I want to capture them tugging on Santa’s beard to make sure it’s real, or even just capture that moment of looking into Santa’s eyes. We have special Christmas decorations to make the session extra special.  A wooden rocking horse, toy train, and a child size tree.  Families are welcome too! Fancy, traditional Christmas dress is encouraged to help make your pictures a little extra special. I vision this to be more than just your typical “mall” portrait.  I want you to have an heirloom to enjoy on your wall for many Christmases to come!

All sessions filled!! I will definitely be doing this next year, so make sure to check back then!!
